Disc reloading refers to the practice of ejecting the disc when the PSX version of Azure Dreams has locked up, then re-inserting it after some period of time, potentially allowing it to recover. This can only be used if the lock-up is minor, or in other words, if the background music and sprite animations are still playing as they normally would. Eventually, the game can be played again.

This is also applicable on emulators with the option of 'ejecting' the ROM they are running, such as pSX.
